![]() The game takes on the daunting task of trying to follow in the footsteps of FromSoftware’s more unique and mechanically demanding Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice. All that and more can be found in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The games feature a deep combat system that requires strategy and skill, with a steep learning curve that rewards players who master it. ![]() The Nioh games have built on the foundation laid by Ninja Gaiden, offering players an immersive and intense action experience. In recent years, Team Ninja has continued to hone their craft in the action RPG genre. And rightfully so, they’re all absolutely fantastic. At this point, almost everyone has tried to copy something from the Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Elden Ring games. Lower morale= tougher enemies, not tankier, just tougher.Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is the latest soulslike from Team Ninja, who has proven multiple times by now that they’re the best at what they do when it comes to taking inspiration from FromSoftware titles. In regards to how would you do that in this game? Keep your morale low. As it was stated, the better you get/more games like this you play, the more you'll expect the game to challenge you, rather than you challenge the game. NG in nioh was trivial at best, ER was a push over, sekiro was hilariously simple due to the deflect mechanics (Haha) and DkS is all about raw+element. "The game doesn't begin until NG+" in NG+ in this game, bosses get tougher, learn new moves, enemy placement changes and you have higher rarity of gear. Seeing as you've played nioh before, you should understand the standard rule of TN games. The game can by good by itself, but i was hoping it be as good as Nioh 2 or better, but it looks like its worse. ![]() ![]() I was super excited, but now i'm honestly debating if i should refund the game or not. You don't have to break down enemy posture to stagger them with a mix of blocking and attacks like in sekiro, you can parry them once and they get staggered?īut the story seems bad, the time period and location is not that intresting to me, and the combat got """"streamlined"""".
